„The best cars in 2012“: The SEAT Alhambra again winner in imported MPVs

The German trade magazine auto motor und sport hosted the awards for „The best cars in 2012“ in Stuttgart last Thursday. The SEAT Alhambra won in the category of “Best imported MPV” for the second year in a row. The multifunctional family car achieved a convincing 17.7 per cent of the reader’s votes in a clear-cut win. The SEAT Ibiza also secured a place on the podium: 10.1 per cent of the votes meant the third place in the category of imported small cars. It was the 36th edition of “The best cars” awards, and in this year’s edition more than 116,000 readers of auto motor und sport participated to choose their favourites of 311 car models in ten categories.

 

 James Muir, Chairman of the Executive Committee of SEAT S.A., received the award: “We are very pleased with the SEAT Alhambra winning in consecutive editions of this prestigious readers award. This points out once more in an impressive way both the outstanding quality and functionality of the Alhambra.“
