  • Joachim Hinz, new head of GRC at SEAT

    Joachim Hinz (Germany, 1974) has been appointed head of the new area of GRC (Governance, Risk and Compliance) at SEAT. Hinz will report directly to James Muir - President of the company’s Executive Committee - as well as to Holger Kintscher, Vice-president of Finances and Organisation.

     

    SEAT thus falls in line with the Volkswagen Group initiative of integrating each company’s policies on good governance, risk and compliance into a single department, with the aim of reinforcing the development of its business activities in a rigorous, transparent and honest fashion. The GRC area will also monitor SEAT’s commitment to sustainability and respect for the environment.

     

    Hinz takes on board this responsibility after 12 years’ experience within the Volkswagen Group, where he began his career in 1999 at the company’s plant in Navarra after graduating in Industrial Engineering at the University of Applied Sciences, Wedel.

     

    Between 2000 and 2002, Hinz worked at the area of product controlling of the Volkswagen group at Wolfsburg. He later returned to Navarra as head of Financial Planning and Investment Control. In 2006 he moved to the...
